Magical Unicorn Session
Normally, I stay nestled close to Ellicott City, but when it’s Unicorn Season I’m venturing off to Western Howard County to a beautiful horse farm called Burning Benjamins! I offer private magical unicorn sessions year-round, but Spring, Fall and Summer and the most popular times of the year for them. Last week, I photographed this little girl meeting our magical unicorn, Sugar Bear! The little girl was absolutely thrilled to meet the unicorn! She couldn't wait to pet it and even asked if she could ride it. I was able to capture some amazing photos of her interacting with the unicorn. She looked so happy and carefree, and it was clear that she was having the time of her life.
The girl’s family was also very excited to see her meet the unicorn! They traveled from Montgomery County to partake in the session located in Howard County in Woodbine. They were all smiles as they watched her interact with the animal. I was able to capture some great photos of the family together, and I'm sure they will cherish these memories for years to come.
Photographing this little one’s encounter with the unicorn was a truly magical experience. It was heartwarming to see how happy she was, and I'm so glad that I was able to capture these special moments for her and her family.

Use a wide-angle lens to capture the whole scene.
Use a fast shutter speed to freeze the action.
Use a high ISO to let in more light, especially if you're shooting in low light.
Experiment with different angles and compositions.
Be patient and let the little girl interact with the unicorn naturally.
