Maryland Maternity Photographer

Originally planned for a partly-cloudy outdoor setting, our maternity session with Jennifer and her partners took a few unexpected turns due to Hurricane Helene. After being rescheduled three times, we were finally able to capture these beautiful moments, albeit under a bit of rain.

Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the Shrine of St Anthony in Ellicott City proved to be the perfect backdrop for our session. The covered areas provided a sheltered haven from the rain, allowing us to create intimate and meaningful photos. The rain actually added a unique touch to the session. The soft, diffused light created a romantic and ethereal atmosphere. As the parent’s-to-be walked hand-in-hand through the serene grounds, their love and anticipation for their new arrival were palpable.

While we may not have had the initial vision of an outdoor tree scene photoshoot, the unexpected change of plans turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The Shrine of St Anthony offered a peaceful and historic setting that perfectly complemented the couple's love story.

This Maryland maternity session serves as a beautiful reminder that even when life throws you a curveball, there's always a way to find beauty and joy. Sometimes, the most unexpected moments can lead to the most cherished memories, especially in parenthood!
