A Morning Summer Family Session at The Triadelphia Reservoir
Nestled in Howard County and parts of Montgomery county, the Triadelphia Reservoir provides a beautiful scene for maryland family photographers! For this family of three, the sun was just starting to rise over the Triadelphia Reservoir, casting a soft glow over the water. The perfect time for a family photo session.
As a maryland family photographer, I always make sure to take a variety of images. This provides clients with options when printing their gallery. I took some photos of the family walking hand-in-hand, and then some close-up shots of the baby and of course photos of just the parents! The parents were so happy to see their child's sweet smile captured on camera.
For aspiring family photographers, or families prepping for their maryland family photographer, here are some tips for planning a morning summer family session:
Choose a location that is shady in the morning. This will help keep the family cool and comfortable, plus it will keep direct sun off of subjects’ faces.
Bring a neutral light blanket to sit on. I will of course edit out any imperfections from wet grass, but this may help with keeping your children less itchy from the grass.
Bring plenty of water and snacks. This will help keep you and your family hydrated and energized.
Be patient and relaxed. It may take some time to get your baby to cooperate, so be patient and enjoy the process.
Have fun! The most important thing is to enjoy each other's company and capture some happy memories.
Here are some additional tips for planning a successful maryland family photo session:
Book your Maryland photo session in advance, especially if you are interested in a popular location.
Dress in light, airy clothing that is appropriate for the weather.
Bring sunscreen and bug spray. As a Maryland family photographer, I always apply sunscreen before each session (even in the winter)! Maryland weather is always iffy, so never second guess yourself!
Most importantly, relax and enjoy the time with your family!
